Review: Tarte Cheek Stain

The Buzz
These cheek stains were my first Tarte purchase, so I can't really relate to all the complaints about reduced product size. I never saw the old packaging and size, so I have nothing to compare it to.
Plus, the Tarte cheek stain costs the same as the NARS Orgasm powder blush I've been buying for years, so it doesn't make a difference for me at all.
First Impression
After trying the 100 point sample of Flush I became obsessed with it, so I went to the store to check out the other colors. I fell in love with so many of them that I ended up buying the Collector's Vault with all 8 cheek stains (a really great deal if you feel like splurging, you save almost $100).
I'd always used powder blush, but I'm finding that the cheek stains are much more natural looking and stay on all day!
Some of the colors are very shimmery, so I skip highlighter and go very subtle on the eyes when I wear it so I don't look sparkly (I'm still kind of traumatized from the days I used to over-do it with the roll-on glitters in middle school).

The Verdict
I've come to the realization that I cannot live without this product. That might be a little too dramatic but I seriously can't go a day without this blush! It looks so natural, like your cheeks really are flushed, plus it lasts! I feel like for the summer, cream blushes are the best option because they won't just swipe off, they sink into the skin. I also like them for the winter because they're super creamy and moisturizing, and lord knows that during the winter all our dry skin could use some hydration. I hardly use powder blush anymore, and I recommend this product to EVERYONE.
