Review: Perfect Hair Day (phd) Shampoo
Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Shampoo is a multi-function shampoo that creates a rich lather and is free of oils, sulfates and silicone. It increases volume, conditions, polishes and strengthens your hair. There are also no parabens or phthalates, and it repels oil and dirt so your hair feels cleaner longer.
The reviews on the product are a little mixed. Some customers stating that they felt like the shampoo worked well for them, leaving their hair quite clean and manageable. Others, however, did not see any difference with this shampoo, stating that their hair did not feel lighter or cleaner as ads described.
I personally found Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Shampoo to be pretty mediocre. I know it won Allure Magazine's Best of Beauty award in 2014, but I'm not convinced. It cleaned well enough (which is the least your shampoo can do for you), but I still had to wash my hair every morning, so the effects don't last as long as they say. I was hoping that with this product I'd be able to go to an every other day washing schedule, but that wasn't the case.
Overall I think this shampoo was just okay. I'm not going to tell you to buy it, but I wouldn't discourage it either. It's a shampoo. It does what shampoos should do, but it isn't extraordinary. There are more impressive products out there for a more reasonable price.
